Welcome. If you're looking for my personal journal, you should head over to eternal_sadist; if you happen to be looking for fic, try miasmicextracts. If, however, you're here looking for my reviews and meta, you're at the right place and really don't have to go anywhere at all.

You'll find the structured or semi-structured reviews I conjure up the necessary will to write here, as I tend to keep fandom at my personal journal, and that includes the oddball thoughts that never really make it into any kind of formulated musing. Generally, this tends to be limited to television, but on occasion I'll write a book or film review (the latter is very, very rare).

As of right now, I am not writing scheduled, weekly reviews. I tend to record the week's episode and chain-watch on either Thursdays or Saturdays as time permits, recording thoughts as I go and compiling a constructed post later on--what this means is that reviews tend to show at the end of the week or, in some cases, at the beginning of the next, though I do my best to post in chronological order when it applies (e.g. Tuesday's shows are reviewed, then Wednesday's, and so on down the line). On rare occasions, these get done much earlier, but that's more a surprise than a promise. I write when themes and plots catch my attention, which means reviews are frequent, but not necessarily like clockwork.

Currently, I'm working with Criminal Minds, NCIS, Burn Notice, Flashpoint, and CSI: New York, though this latter falls into the the semi-structured category, as stellaluna_ writes the official reviews at csi_ny, and she and I tend to overlap if we both make our observations. The Mentalist is also being tentatively added to the queue, and, when it returns, USA Network's In Plain Sight might lengthen the list as well.

Under the interests, you'll find the shows I review and a listing of the actors and respective characters associated with said shows. If the actor has had a recurring role, made it onto the main credits, or been otherwise significant to the development of the show, he or she has been listed as an interest--we'll see how well this method works.

(Bear in mind that I don't review all the shows I watch, and I also tend to not write reviews for shows aired and finished--e.g. Firefly, or The West Wing. I may write meta if the idea so strikes me, and if I do that will be posted here as well, but a show not currently running will be listed in the tags, not the interests.)
